Proper nutrition is much like putting in the proper fuel and oil into your car. Imagine having a brand new Dodge Viper and forgetting to change the oil, or putting in diesel fuel instead of premium unleaded gasoline...what do you think will happen to the car? Put in the wrong fuel and forget to change the oil and your car will break down. Your body also needs the right fuel to obtain the results you desire. No matter how hard you work in the gym, you will NOT reap the rewards with an improper diet. The food you put in your body will directly affect the way you feel and the results you will achieve. It is the foundation of any exercise program.

Think about this.  We have been eating since the dawn of man.  A hundred years ago we didn't have diet books to follow, one doctor telling us that high protein and high fat is the way to go and another saying low fat is all you have to worry about.  We definitely didn't have the luxury of using what you are right now to read this, the internet, to have access to any answer to any question you can think of.  So why has nutrition become such a hot topic in the last twenty years?  Why has obesity now become an actual epidemic in North America ?  Why are over 60% of North Americans obese?  How did we let this happen?  I believe that we've been so bombarded with information and choices that it has just become easier to turn a blind eye to the basics of good nutrition.  Our fast past society and our easy access to nutritionally void foods is also another main contributor.  I also believe that with so many choices and so much contradiction, it has become impossible to figure out what's right and what's wrong.  This is where I come in.  Through Nutritional assessments, your goals and a look at your current diet, I come up with a diet strategy that's right for you.  No more guessing, no more confusion!
