What is Protein Powder?
Bodybuilders have long relied upon protein powders to insure they are getting high enough levels of amino acids that are necessary to build and repair muscle. Research has shown consuming protein powder everyday can boost immune system health, facilitate the healing of wounds after surgery or injury, and promote healthy skin, in addition to fostering muscle strength and development.

ZMA: What is it and how to take it?
ZMA has become a number one supplement used by strength and power athletes, bodybuilders and endurance athletes. Research shows that this blend of nutrients raises testosterone levels, increases strength, and accelerates gains in muscle size. One university study showed a 30% increase in testosterone levels following ZMA supplementation.

How do you determine your caloric needs?
To determine how many calories you need per day, you need to first
figure out your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR).  This is the amount of
calories you would burn at rest if you did nothing but lay in bed for 24
hours.

Your BMR is a function of your size, sex, and age. It's also influenced
by your metabolic status (hypo or hyperthyroid state for example). One
of the most effective ways of measuring your BMR is by doing a
Bioimpedance Analysis (BIA).  This is a device that attaches two
electrodes to your feet, and two electrodes to your hands and sends a
small current through the body and determines your body fat percentage,
muscle mass, and BMR.

How important is stretching?
The topic of stretching can be quite an intensive conservation.   First
and foremost optimal muscle length for normal joint range of motion is
vital for everybody.  Simply put, everybody needs to be able to move
their limbs to an optimal range of motion to reduce injuries and to
reduce stress on certain joints.   Commonly tight muscles I see in
everyday people usually are: pecs, hamstrings and hip flexors.  This is
usually caused by poor posture, excessive sitting and hours of use on
the computer.  These tight muscles usually contribute to stiff upper
backs and lower back issues.

Cardio VS Strength Training: Which is better?
Cardio versus strength training. There are mixed messages on what you need to stay fit. Is one better than the other?

What's the best way to eat healthy?
It’s been said that you can’t out train a bad diet and it’s true. All the advance training techniques and optimal exercises will never give you the body you work so hard for if your diet is lacking the essential elements.

Having more energy, shedding fat, sleeping better and getting more out of your day can be as easy as changing your eating habits in 8 simple steps!

What are digestive enzymes?
Digestive enzymes help the body to break down and use the nutrients from
fats, carbs, proteins, sugars and fibers. They are produced by the
body, mainly in the pancreas, but also the stomach and salivary glands
to act on food in the stomach, mouth and small intestine.

What is Glutamine and should I use it?
Glutamine is the single most abundant amino acid found in the skeletal
muscular system and is heavily metabolized during endurance and weight
training conditions. Clinical studies reveal that supplementation with
glutamine helps support recovery after intense training by promoting
energy repletion, maintaining a healthy immune system, buffering against
lactic acid build-up and most importantly increasing muscular growth.

What are BCAA's?
Among the most beneficial and effective supplements in any sports
nutrition program are branched chain amino acids. These are the
essential amino's: leucine, isoleucine, and valine.  Although these supplements have been around for a long time and the
scientific understanding in the exercise performance benefits of BCAA
supplementation is rich many people don't know exactly how they exert
their effects or how and when to use them properly.

What is Creatine?
Creatine is naturally found in the human body. It stores the essential
source of energy (ATP) for all your muscles. The more saturation of
creatine in your muscle, the more energy (ATP) your muscle has, which
translates into more muscular power and endurance! Whether you're trying
to pack on size or trim down, more muscular endurance means better
workouts and better results.

Is Oil of Oregano really that good?
Oil of oregano has a wide range of natural compounds with proven healing
effects, including carvacrol and thymol. Some of these active
ingredients damage the cell membranes of bacteria, causing fluids to
leak out of the bacteria and impairing their metabolism and replication.
Studies have shown that using oil from the whole herb, rather than just
some of its individual chemical compounds, creates a synergy that
greatly enhances potency.

Biosignature Modulation: Can you spot reduce?
Exercise physiologists have stood firmly with the idea that body fat is lost in a precise and evenly distributed manner. In layman's terms- NO SPOT REDUCTION!! That is until now, with the introduction of one of the most comprehensive and successful body fat modification systems in the industry- BIOSIGNATURE MODULATION.
